Our Southern gray squirrels crawl down the tree limb and actually touched so that it reflected the sun, much like the way they splash in the water. The deer didn't even noticed. Might add a bell hoping the noise will startle them. Otherwise, invest in the solar sensor owl that hoots, and I would prefer a solar sensor dog that barks-- I barked like a dachsund and the deer took off.

I purchased the owls to see if it would scare birds away from eating my trout out of our stock. The owls did not have enough weights on them and high winds put them on the ground. now I have to see what else I can come up with. Sorry I was very disappointed.
