I have 2 cats who sleep on my bed and I have previously always had comforter sets, and I think I do laundry more often than most people, just for the pet hair, which I am weird about. I found the comforters to be such a chore to launder, so I basically wanted this bedspread to fit into the washer easier and to actually dry in the dryer. I ordered pink, which is more mauve, which was okay with me. The design is attractive. I washed it twice before drying it even once and noticed clumps of fibers all over in the washer, and the dryer vent was caked several times before the bedspread was dry. I put it on the bed and it looked like maybe it needed to be ironed, because the base material (under the tufting) is like a thick bedsheet. But it fits my bed good and it looks nice. There is nothing "luxurious" about it on my bed. I live in Colorado, so this will not keep the 3 of us warm for about 9 months out of the year and we'll be piling on the blankets. But my goal was to get a non-thick bedspread that fit my bed and was easy to launder as often as I wanted due to the pet hair, and so it makes me happy for those reasons. I just don't think the quality of fabric was worth the price, and I don't think it will last me that long.

Too small, even for non pillow top bed. Not as pictured, no fringe, square edges, and somewhat thin fabric. Blue blanket shows through.
