I would give these a perfect rating, but rather send them back, I went to town and bought matching orange thread, got the sewing machine out and sewed the top of the valance where the stitching had come apart so the rod would stay in place. Once I got that done and hung up to kitchen window, they were even prettier than the picture. I would definitely buy these again even if I had to repair them. I really like the polyester; heavier material than I expected and such a pretty sheen.
