I wanted to take files from my Tivo and put them on my Hard Drive so I could dub out the commercials and then burn them to DVD.
You need a converter software to convert to MPG 2 format.

This product isn't compatible with my Hitachi 8300A camcorder. My camera has two connections (yellow & white) only. I tried several times to transfer videos from my recorer to DVD and it failed. I am going to return it for a refund.
