This innovative, air-tight banana bag provides exactly the right level of insulation to keep bananas from over-ripening, blackening or spoiling. Simply place 6-8 bananas inside, slide drawstring to close and store in the refrigerator. Wipe clean nylon. 14"L x 11"W.
This product is wonderful. I have thrown out so many bananas because they get overripe and I don't like them that way. I buy them mostly green hoping they stay longer, and it helps only very little and I keep them in the frige. Now I put them in the frige in the bag and they stay for almost a month sometimes . They do turn black, but they are still firm and delicious and fresh.

I was so hopeful when I ordered this bag...disapointed to say the least. I followed the directions and the whole bunch turned black in just 2 days

Comments about Banana Bag:
The bag is not air tight...there are rows of holes on one side. (See picture.) Do I put the holes on top or on the bottom when I put it into the refrigerator? I have tried it both ways with bananas that are still partially green, but within about six days they are black and mushy, the same as they would be without the bag. Maybe I am doing something wrong.....

Use it for bananas only. It says to keep in refrigerator but bananas will turn brown. In the kitchen it does prolong life of product.
