      Comments about Microwave Pressure Cooker:

To be honest I ordered this not expecting much except a pot to use in my very small microwave. To my surprise it really does work as a pressure cooker and does a good job considering the low wattage of my tiny microwave.

        Comments about Microwave Pressure Cooker:

There was no recipe book, there was one page folded in half. It showed how to cook rice and pasta and chicken and mussles. That was it. I have no idea how to use it for anything else

        Comments about Microwave Pressure Cooker:

i am a self taught chef. i cook the way my grandmother and mother cook. that is who taught me to begin with and i have finished by using good cookbooks and watch julia childs on tv. but i do alot of microwave cooking now because of health problems. this pot is great for when i cook stir fry. i can use it without using oil. also i love to cook veggies and meats in it with out pulling out the old heavy pressure cooker i used for years. i would recommend this to any one who likes to cook fast dinners in less that 20 minutes.

          Comments about Microwave Pressure Cooker:

This cooked my pasta as said, but upon reading and following instruction, the water boiled over in the microwave and made a huge mess! There needs to be a better seal on it for it to be a true pressure cooker. I returned the item.

            Comments about Microwave Pressure Cooker:

One Bad: No relevant instructions. I have no interest in cooking rice or pasta in the microwave.

Rest is GOOD: I started with a small roast - 15 minutes at medium, done and tender. Then a stew - meat and potatoes with water/broth - 10 minutes at med; add vegetables, 5 minutes at med - wonderful.
Heating vegetables, leftovers, etc - great.

My microwave is 1200watts and I haven't tried anything at full power yet - the 60-70% (equivalent to a small microwave full power) has been perfect.

I assume it won't last forever - the plastic is not super sturdy - so I'm buying a backup.
