I am partially disabled and had high hopes that this device would be a great help to me in the kitchen. Unfortunately, the only thing that it works well for are boiled eggs. Cannot open wide enough to handle small onion, definitely not a tomato. I do not understand how the photos show a tomato being used, I could not get one in between the edges of the device. So sorry, I really wanted/needed this.

We live in Texas and the Roma tomatoes are really great this year. We eat them almost every day, this is so easy to use.. slice them up, and they come out looking so attrative. All you have to do is fan them out and add a little garnish and you have a great looking salad.

This has been a wonderful find. I was struck by lightening and have been losing muscle control so it hold vegtable in place while cutting. It removes a lot of anxiety, plus I do not have to depend on others.
