I have found rinsing these out after using them and then tossing them in the washer rather than dishwasher and tossing in the weekly kitchen towels works even better. They also do well in the dryer set at air only without heat and don't have to be dried. They work especially well on cans for small children, buy the less expensive large can and keep it in fridge through the week to serve small servings then toss in washer.
