This is adorable and made a great Mother's Day gift, filled with fruit for my Mom who did her kitchen in Apples. My complaints are, when you snap on the lid, it is hard to remove, had to use a butter knife, maybe after time it will be easier. Also the leaf on top is cheap green plastic, wish it was the metal the basket is.

Even though the dimensions are given, I think this covered basket is bigger than it needs to be. Because it is so large, it sort of overwhelms my small kitchen and is not a useful accent for me. However, the capacity would be ideal for a large kitchen or a family who stocks up on fruits for the kids.

I thought it was a great idea but the fruit flies still got inside. The top doesn't sit tight onto the bottom, so it slips off easily.
