I use this product for cushioning when sitting at events with hard seating like bleachers or folding chairs. I also use it for kneeling when gardening or washing the tub or the dog or on any hard surface. My neighbor is a small person and uses two for driving and they work for her. I, personally, would like a choice of an additional cover that is more rugged for the way I use this cushion but for riding in the car it does the job.
