I bought this product for emergency use,but I could get no reception inside and have not tried it outside. Due to a very high mountain and where our radio and TV towers are on the top some times reception is poor,so hopefully if it is needed in an emergency, it will receive a signal. I havered this twice but wording not right

Comments about 9-Band Radio:
I tried the product inside and reception was poor and have not tried it outside. Reception for radio in Albuquerque is poor due to location of antennas on nearby mountain. I feel that it will fill my needs in case of an emergency and outside where reception is usually better

Comments about 9-Band Radio:
I was disappointed in the quality of this radio. I expected a sturdier construction. I was going to give it to my 11 year old grandson in September, however, I may just discard it.
