This is the second time I have bought these for my husband, who is diabetic with very sensitive toes. He has trouble finding socks that don't feel too tight on his toes because his feet are large (Size 11EE) and his toes are "touchy." He sometimes buys "diabetic" socks that cost $20 or more a pair.
He likes these socks because they are lightweight and cool, as well as comfortable and non-binding, but they still stay up well. They do wear quickly on the toes and heels because they are light-weight. It's a trade-off.

These are light weight socks, absolutely non-binding and also stay up quite well. The large size works well for my 10 1/2 wide feet. For athletic uses, I'd prefer a sock that's a little heavier and cushier.
