First of all this product was purchased for my granddaughters both have very thick hair and would cry everytime their mothers brushed out their hair. I have asked my granddaughters what they thought of the brush, both stated that they actually dont mind having their hair brushed out not, not has many tears and one granddaughter does it by herself. So this product is a hit.
