doesn't fit in ear by itself... had to hold and then it would squeal. It did amplify conversation, but put back in box after a couple of uses. Would recommend to add to discription that small ears might be a problem.

This product just did not work for me with my hearing loss. It may be okay for others. It looks comparable to a high priced hearing aid and may work that way except for the background noise.

My mother's regular hearing aid needed repair just as she was in the hospital for a period of several weeks. The personal sound amplifier was extremely helpful to her in enabling her to hear and understand the medical staff and her family. It got all of us through a particular difficult time.
