I weigh around 570 pounds and need a big seat. This seat was ok , except the hinges ! The hinges are a regular plastic , same as on any seat. Persons with heavy weight when shifting on this seat put alot of stress on the hinges! The hinges broke on me the first week ! I think if this seat was sold with strong metal type hinges, like the other seat I replaced it with , it would be ok. The bad news for me was the other seat was double the price! I guess you get what you pay for somtimes ! Charley , Alabama
