I use the pillow for extra support around my shoulder/neck area. Although the pillow is the right size for that kind of use, I thought they would be the size of a standard pillow. The white casing that comes with the pillow gets dirty very easily and really doesn't conform to the shape of the pillow. I would recommend this to friend but would warn them about the size.

I BOUGHT THIS, BEFORE I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL FOR 12 DAYS. IT SERVED ME OK, TILL I GOT OUT, THEN FOR SOME REASON, IT FLATTENED OUT AND IS NOT COMFORTABLE IN MY OWN BED, EVEN WITH THREE PILLOWS UNDER MY HEAD. ALL THE STYRAFOAM PELLETS GO TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE PILLOW AND NONE ON THE INSIDE. WHAT GIVES?? I HAVE TRIED TO FORM IT TO FIT, BUT IT DOESN'T!! WAS THIS SUPPOSED TO COME WITH A PILLOW CASE? OR, DO I HAVE TO BUY THIS SEPARATELY?? VERY UNHAPPY WITH IT, SO I USE THE PINK BUNNY PILLOW PET UNDER MY HEAD, THAT MY GRANDKIDS' GAVE ME FOR CHRISTMAS, LAST YEAR. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!!! WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO THAT BUCKWHEAT PILLOW?? IF THIS SUPPOSED TO BE IT, IT ISN'T!!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE!!!
