I was pleased that the shoes fit well over my brace (I bought a half size larger), had a normal sole not the rocker heel), and adequate expansion by the velcro to be comfortable with my brace on. I am adding another insole because the arch feels sharp but, they are, otherwise, very comfortable on both feet.
