To begin with, I have trouble shopping for shoes, especially online, because my feet are different sizes. So I must buy to fit the larger foot, then figure out how to keep a too-big shoe on the other one. Soft lace-up shoes, like these, work reasonably well but don't provide much support. They're fine for casual wear & look good with jeans--like sneakers only a little bit dressier--but aren't sturdy enough for serious walking. If I recommended to a friend, I'd advise adding an inner sole with arch support. Incidentally, the dark brown corduroy attracts lint like crazy, so keep a shoe brush handy.

The shoes are stylish, however, they are very narrow to be classified as wide. The have a hard white thread which made it impossible to get them on my feet. It actually hurt to try to get them on.

I ordered one pair of every color. They look great but not comfortable. I know they won't last long but I'm not sorry I bought them.

I wear the booties everyday for work and sometimes even to church. They are like walking on air and are the best purchase I have ever made for work shoes.
