The fabric is firm-smooth. I needed something not see-through to go from the campground shower to our RV that isn't PJs or to have to completely redress. No bra necessary. The pockets let me carry keys and hanky. I now have a black and peach and have no problems with either. Because I am 5'4" it is reasonable that I needed to hem them 3".

I love this dress. It is perfect for the Texas heat. I ordered the black and coral last year. I wore them even in the winter. I get so many compliments on this dress. It washes well and comes out of the dryer ready to wear. I did order a turquiose and plum colored one recently and the fit is smaller than the ones I oredered previously. I will order the next bigger size.

Lovely for my 86 year old mother-in-law who lives in a residential home care facility. Nice, medium weight fabric may be worn without a slip, but still appropriate for 100+ degree Sacramento summer heat. Tiny concern that neck opening may be a bit small making it necessary that she have help putting it on and taking it off.

Bought black and purple, love everything about them. Wash use fabric softner, and hang as soon as dry and you will not have to iron. Thick, smooth quality fabric that does not require a slip which is much cooler in Texas heat. Lots of compliments and want to know where I bought them. Now ordering the Coral color !!
