We live in the country and are outdoors quite a bit. I wanted something that would keep both my head and neck warm, can't stand having that chill on my neck where your jacket and hat don't meet :) This was perfect for that! The only "bad" thing is that the hood comes up to an "elfish hat" point. No big deal to me but I could see how others may not like that. Overall perfect for what I wanted.
