I think these run large. I ordered a medium and there was plenty of wiggle room. In fact, the waist is too big and they tend to slip down. If not for that, I'd give these a higher rating. I like that they look like ordinary tights from the outside and they are not too bulky to wear under pants or skirts. Just wish they had more elastic at the waist.

I am 5'1" tall & 176 lbs in weight & I brought 2 pairs of this size in Petite/Medium tall & they did not go further up than my thigh area, so I returned the item for an exchange to a Queen Full size. Queen full size too I had great difficulty in pulling it upto my waist & finally got it upto my waist & after awhile it kept falling off my waist and gathering up at my ankles. Worst pair of leggings I ever had. On the pro side, they were soft & had nice feeling in your skin & it keeps your legs warm upto a degree. I just wish they just stayed put.

I ordered a queen size in these because I don't like tight clothing. Even the QS was small, tight and I could not even get them up to my waist to keep the crotch from sagging.
